Sahadeva- Part 1, early life Did you know that Sahadeva, the youngest Pandava prince, considered an embodiment of knowledge but a secretive man who never revealed anything, compiled together various occult sciences (Astrology) that helped to predict future, even Kurukshetra war? Shatrunjaya Did you know that Shatrunjaya is a sacred site for Jains, containing hundreds of Palitana temples? Shatrunjaya or Shetrunjaya ("place of victory against inner enemies") originally Pundarikgiri), are hills located by the city of Palitana, in Bhavnagar district, Gujarat, India. They are situated on the banks of the Shetrunji River at an elevation 164 feet (50 m) above sea level. These hills have similarities to other hills where Jain temples have been built in Bihar, Gwalior, Mount Abu and Girnar. The Jain's sacred hill of Shatrunjaya have 865 temples atop itself. The hills were sanctified when Rishabha, the first tirthankara of Jainism, gave his first sermon on the top of this hill. Budikote Did you know that historically, Budikote village has a plaque in its fort which records that Hyder Ali, a Muslim ruler of Mysore Kingdom was born there in 1720 AD? Budikote or Budhikote is a village situated in Bangarapet taluk of Kolar district in the then Mysore Kingdom, now part of the Indian state of Karnataka. It is situated at the confluence of the two branches of the Markanda River, a tributary of the Pinaknin River.
