Have you observed this?  Give something, maybe a blanket or a quilt, to someone in need, or if this is not possible, then give a few kind words.  Only when you give more, will you be able to receive more, but do not give with the intention of getting more. Then it is not a gift at all.  So make a decision to give and give a noble gift. There is a saying, which is very common here. "If we are happy today, it may be from some good deeds done by our ancestors. Our elders did good deeds, and that is why we are well off today."  The benefit of the good work we do, the religious acts we perform and the gifts we give is not limited only to us, but extends to future generations. Chapter 12 - The Body Is A Temple  Day 62 I met a married man in Delhi, who had fallen in love with a woman, who worked in his office. What to do? He could not share anything at home since he had a wife and children.  He did not know what to do. The same thought kept coming again and again. Her name was Rama. So he kept writing her name, "Rama," "Rama," in a note pad.  When he was asked for a signature, he wrote "Rama." It became such a problem that he started seeing her face everywhere.  Even the cat's face looked like Rama, and when he went out on his scooter, he would see her face in the streetlight. Everybody has an idea about it. *Chapter 3 - Self Discovery* *Day 11* The Truth, Knowledge, and Infinity is what Divinity is. Satyam is Truth, Gnanam is Knowledge, divinity and Infinity is Brahman. If you put a paper in a fax machine and you press a button here that print gets electronically transported.  You can get it, for example in China. What happened to the information that you inserted here and released into the cosmos? That same information thousands of miles away gets printed exactly the same way.  How is it possible? Have you ever thought about it? In a cell phone, if you say something, those words go into it and then go into space and gets reproduced somewhere in another place in exactly same way.  So, where is this information carried in between these two cells phones? Have you ever thought about it? This information is intact with practically no lapse of time - there is a little time gap there and it gets on to the other side? Then, the medium in which this knowledge is flowing ...

*Chapter 3 - Self Discovery* *Day 10* Truth is that which is not affected by the three times - past, present, and future. The world is not true because the world is affected by time. Our perception is affected by time and space.  So perception is not true. All that you perceive in the world around you is not truth. One stroke its all gone - your means of perception is not faulty.  When someone asks you to tell the truth, you just smile. Tell the truth? Truth is unlimited - not limited by time.  I was accused of telling lies when I was a child because I used to say "I have my family people in America. One summer I will go there." Which summer it didn't strike me. My friends believed me a couple of times, but then they found out I have nobody in America. My mother would get angry at me and say, "You are lying. "Why are you lying? You never tell lies, otherwise just this one lie". I was bewildered. I didn't know what to say. It felt very right ...
