Those who are free from vanity and delusion, who have overcome the evil of attachment, who dwell constantly on the self (atman) and on God, who are free from the desire to enjoy the senses, and are beyond the dualities of pleasure and pain, such liberated personalities attain the supreme immortal state.

Always singing My divine glories, striving with great determination, and humbly bowing down before Me, they constantly worship Me in loving devotion.

I am not manifest to everyone, being veiled by My divine Yogmaya energy. Hence, those without knowledge do not know that I am without birth and changeless.

O descendant of Bharata! Know tamas to be born from ignorance, deluding all embodied beings, that binds firmly through negligence, laziness, and sleep.

Each sense has attachment and aversion for its corresponding sense objects, but one should not be under their control, for they are foes.

Those who know that a day of Brahma lasts a thousand ages (yugas) and a night of his is also of equal duration know the truth about day and night.

Neither the sense of doership nor the nature of actions comes from God; nor does He create the fruits of actions. All this is enacted by the modes of material nature (guṇas).

Weapons cannot cut the self (atman), nor can fire burn it; water cannot wet it, nor can the wind dry it.

I am the all-devouring death and the origin of all future events. Among the virtues of women, I am fame, prosperity, speech, memory, intelligence, endurance, and forgiveness.

What is called renunciation, know that to be yoga, for no one can become a yogi without relinquishing desires.

I am the Lord, the inspirer of all, established in ecstasy and eternally situated in the form of yoga - he who knows this understands the essence of the Vedas.

Within whom all this and all that is within, I am the omnipresent, omnipotent, the nurturer of all.

It was I who established Parameshthi Brahma at the beginning of the universe and gave him all the Vedas that came out of my mouth.

I am the creator, maintainer and destroyer of this universe. I am Mayapati and my power Maya (Avidya) keeps deluding the whole world.

I am that omnipresent, peaceful, knowledgeable soul, the Supreme Lord. The whole world is pervaded by me who has Avyakta form.

I am that supreme God, omnipresent, peaceful and knowledgeable. There is nothing beyond me. Knowing me the Jeeva becomes free.

The supreme status attained by yogis is, attained by the gyanis as well. Only those who see Yoga and Sankhya as one are the True philosophers

When Yogi starts seeing all beings within himself and himself in all, then he attains the Brahman state.

When he attains the knowledge of the supreme Brahman, which is the only medicine for birth, old age, sorrow, disease, etc., then that yogi attains in the form of Brahman.

Knowledge is covered by ignorance in the world, because of which attachment arises in people.

Jivan-Mukta Muni sees the Atma as without any fault, without any sorrow, the Form of supreme bliss and without any changes.

The Knower of vedic truth knows that the Immortal enjoyer of all, is Omnipresent and is the witness of all, which is beyond the Prakriti.

The aatma is eternal, all-pervading, non-defective and one, all differences arise due to the power of Maya and not because of the inherent nature of the aatma.

The ātmā is pure, peaceful, subtle and eternal. That (ātmā) is clearly luminous and consciously situated in all. That is the inner Supreme self, that is the soul and that is the Supreme Lord.
