There is no sermon or scripture, no disciple or guru, nothing is to be achieved for ever blissful and attributeless Self.॥13॥

You are the Father of this world, moving and non-moving, and the greatest Guru, most revered. O Lord of incomparable power! In all three worlds, there is none even equal to You; how then can anyone be greater than You?

Sattvic people prefer foods that enhance life, virtue, strength, health, happiness, and satisfaction. Such foods are succulent, oleaginous, wholesome, and pleasant to the heart.

I am the source of all creation, and everything evolves from Me; knowing thus, the wise, full of devotion, constantly worship Me

A person who thinks solely about sense objects develops an attachment to them. Attachment leads to desire, and from desire arises anger. Anger induces delusion, and delusion leads to confusion of memory; from confusion of memory comes loss of intellect, and loss of intellect leads to outright perishment.

From food arise all beings, and food is produced from rain. From sacrifice (yajna) comes rain, and sacrifice springs from actions. Know that actions originate from the Vedas, and the Vedas proceed from the imperishable Brahman; hence, the all-pervading Brahman is always present in sacrifice.

Whatever celestial form a devotee seeks to worship with reverence, I stabilize their faith in that very form. Endowed with faith, the devotee worships that particular celestial form and obtains their objects of desire, which are determined by Me alone.
