High blood pressure, or hypertension, can exhibit the following symptoms

High blood pressure, or hypertension, can exhibit the following symptoms:

1. Heaviness of the head and occipital headache
2. Flushed face and red eyes
3. Sensitivity to light
4. Nosebleeds (in severe cases)
5. Anger and irritability
6. Burning sensations

In Ayurveda, high blood pressure is associated with an imbalance of the doshas, particularly Pitta and Vata. To manage high blood pressure, Ayurveda recommends:

1. Balancing the doshas through diet, lifestyle, and herbal remedies
2. Reducing stress and anxiety through yoga, meditation, and pranayama
3. Improving digestion and reducing Ama (toxins) through Panchakarma detoxification
4. Using Ayurvedic medicines and herbs, such as Arjuna, Brahmi, and Guduchi
5. Following a diet tailored to an individual's constitution (Prakriti) and dosha imbalance
6. Engaging in regular physical activity and exercise
7. Practicing relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation

By addressing the underlying dosha imbalance and lifestyle factors, Ayurveda aims to reduce symptoms and promote overall health and well-being. Consult an Ayurvedic doctor or practitioner for personalized guidance.
