The stupid does not find peace because he is wanting it, while the wise discriminating the truth is always peaceful minded.॥39॥

न शान्तिं लभते मूढो

यतः शमितुमिच्छति।

धीरस्तत्त्वं विनिश्चित्य

सर्वदा शान्तमानसः॥१८- ३९॥

अज्ञानी शांति नहीं प्राप्त कर सकता क्योंकि वह शांत होने की इच्छा से ग्रस्त है। ज्ञानी पुरुष तत्त्व का दृढ़ निश्चय करके सदैव शांत चित्त ही रहता है॥३९॥
