People desirous of worldly pleasures are seen and people desirous of liberation are also seen in this world. But one who is indifferent to both of these desires is really rare.॥5॥

बुभुक्षुरिह संसारे

मुमुक्षुरपि दृश्यते।

भोगमोक्षनिराकांक्षी

विरलो हि महाशयः॥१७- ५॥

इस संसार में सांसारिक भोगों की इच्छा वाले भी देखे जाते हैं और मोक्ष की इच्छा वाले भी पर इन दोनों इच्छाओं से रहित महापुरुष का मिलना दुर्लभ है॥५॥
