In a person free from attachment for this world, there is neither aggression nor submissiveness, neither pride nor lowliness, neither surprise nor agitation.॥16॥

न हिंसा नैव कारुण्यं

नौद्धत्यं न च दीनता।

नाश्चर्यं नैव च क्षोभः

क्षीणसंसरणे नरे॥१७- १६॥

क्षीण संसार वाले पुरुष में न हिंसा और न करुणा, न गर्व और न दीनता, न आश्चर्य और न क्षोभ ही होते हैं॥१६॥
