Gurudev Today In Satsang from Bangalore Ashram - 20th April 2023

💫 Many times we have choices in life and to make the right choice you need to be intuitive. Without intuitive abilities you cannot be a good businessman or boss either. Any field of activity you take - you need intuition and to develop that you need meditation.  💫 Where there is intention, sooner or later it will convert into action. The only deterrent to action is physical or mental lethargy  💫 सुनने की कला ही ध्यान हैं। Meditation is the art of listening. When you are silent, you will listen to your inner voice  💫 The art of listening is true spiritual knowledge. We keep blabbering all the time! God/Nature knows you well and is continuously telling you what you need to hear but you have to listen!

Q. Mind is constantly active, yet, vedanta describes it as inert Mind is also an organ.  Q. Volunteer work, expectations  One needs to come out of comfort zone to volunteer. Don't volunteer/serve expecting rewards or appreciation. One serves when one is happy, one derives joy in serving and not in getting appreciation for service.  Q. Aap bhakto k beech mein differences ko kaise solve karte hain It's a trade secret. Everyone is a bhakt, some know it, some don't. Some are devotees of the past, some of the present, and some of the future.  Q. If we help someone financially, are we making them dependent? We should take the middle path. We shouldn't shy away from helping someone thinking that it would make them dependent. At the same time, we shouldn't make them too dependent on us.  Q. Gurudev Today In Satsang

🌟 Be happy that you are bored When you are so bored of everything only then you can turn inwards and discover the fountain of joy that you are. When you look for joy in outside things boredom is inevitable eventually.  🌟 Light causes darkness and darkness reveals more. When the day is bright, you cant see anything, on the contrary the night reveals millions of stars and galaxies. 🌟 In this world everything is recycled, even the air you breathe is recycled.

The practice of Sudarshan Kriya helped me immensely during some extremely challenging times

In the year 2014, I secured admission in an engineering college in Nagpur, India. It was here that I was introduced to Art of Living & did my first Happiness Course. The practice of Sudarshan Kriya helped me immensely during some extremely challenging times and it also made me overcome some vices. While I was originally from Dubai, UAE, I felt connected with everyone here and made many friends. In my final semester, I unfortunately failed an exam. The rules of Nagpur University did not allow students to carry any backlogs to the final exam. Thousands of students were barred and I was one of them. I was completely shattered! I was new to the country and had no substantial experience to seek a job. Heartbroken, I decided to move back to my home in Dubai. The bad luck however continued its spell. Upon reaching home, I realized that my family had received an eviction notice & we will need to move out of the house we had rented for so many years. We were forced to move into a small...

The Perfect Relationship

If you know how to row a boat, you can row any boat. But if you don’t know how to row, changing boats isn’t going to help. Similarly, changing a relationship does not solve the issue. Sooner or later, you will be in the same situation in any other relationship. Most people look elsewhere for a perfect relationship, but few look within themselves;at the place from where we relate. What is your relationship with yourself? Who are you to yourself? People think, ‘Oh, I’m single. I’m so bored being by myself. I need a companion. I need a relationship.’ If you are so bored by your own company, think how much more boring you must be for someone else. And two people bored with themselves getting together, will completely bore each other! If your relationship is based on personal need it may not last that long. Once the need is fulfilled, on a physical or on an emotional level, the mind will look for something else and go somewhere else. If your relationship is from a level of shari...

How Doing Seva Increased The Gratitude And Confidence In Me

In March 2013, Sri Sri was scheduled to visit Mumbai for 5 days. I was very eager to have him in my city and wanted everyone to be in his presence. I was traveling in the train and I realized I have 200 calendars of 2013 with Guruji’s picture with me, which I was given to distribute. I used to travel by train everyday and thought of distributing the calendars to fellow commuters. However, I felt a bit uncomfortable talking to strangers in a crowded train. I had done seva many times before but it was always with fellow volunteers and never alone. Nonetheless, a few people did take the calendars from me. After distributing it in my compartment, I was standing near the door to get off at my station, Andheri, a suburb in Mumbai. Just then, a gentleman came up to me and asked me if I was from the Art of Living. I excitedly said yes. He then told me, “you’re doing an awesome job.” I was shocked. I didn’t expect to hear that. I asked him if he had done the course. He told me he had done the a...

There are five secrets which are sacred and are guarded by the subtle beings and angels in this creation. They are: *_Jananarahasya (the secret of birth):_* Birth is a secret. How a soul takes a body, the criteria for selecting the place of birth, time of birth, type of body, parents etc., are all a secret. _*Maranarahasya (the secret of death):*_ Death is a highly guarded secret. Death remains a mystery. The process of separation of spirit from matter and its journey from then on is a secret. _*Rajarahasya (the royal secret, the secret of ruling):*_ The principles of governing; the principles of maintaining the orderliness in creation are a secret. _*Prakritirahasya (the secret of nature):*_ Nature is a mystery. Super Woman Syndrome

Pradnya Mane  Clinical Psychologist After working in Hospital settings for 7 years, I recently started working with corporates as their Clinical psychologist. It's disheartning to say that almost 99.10% of women around us or even us are suffering from something called as 'Super Woman syndrome'. It might not be a life threatening condition but it is certainly peace threatening one! So what is it exactly ? Juggling with household, your career, in-laws expectations, children, husband's wishes, society and putting more and more efforts for being perfectionist in everything brings an ocean of anxiety. The idea that fulfilling all of your roles and responsibilities to perfection will lead to happiness and balance is definitely not realistic, nor should it be. Superwoman Syndrome happens when a woman neglects herself as she is seeking to “do it all” to perfection and stretching herself to make her the last on her priority list. Social upbringing plays a vital role in it's ...

Potential, possible, or probable predatory scholarly open-access journals This is a list of questionable, scholarly open-access standalone journals. For journals published by a publisher, please look for the publisher on the list of publishers, here. This list is only for single, standalone journals.
