The only thing that we can do is feel grateful for having a living Master in our life, and spread this joy and happiness to as many people as we possibly can, so that they also benefit from His unconditional Love & Grace

I did the Art of Living course in November 2003 in Mumbai, under the dynamic teacher Ramesh Menonji. I still remember those six beautiful days of my life, which despite the many years that have passed by, still seem just like yesterday. My first Kriya (meditation) was a beautiful experience, which simply blew my mind. It was such a unique feeling, and I still treasure it. During the Kriya, a strong sandalwood smell engulfed the room, which added to the beautiful blissful experience I was going through. I still remember that lovely fragrance. But at the time of the Kriya, on smelling the fragrance, I got a small doubt in my mind, that the teacher must have lighted some incense sticks, which was the reason for the sandalwood smell. So I asked some fellow participants regarding the fragrance, but none of them had got it. This was truly astonishing for me. This made me realize that each one had a unique experience. I considered this as a very precious happening and kept it in m...

I recovered from this liver problem within 3 months and in the 6th month I had the kidney transplant operation. This miracle was possible only because of Sri Sri’s hand in my hand & the prayers by all the loved ones.

I joined Art of Living in 2001. After the course, I started practicing the Kriya daily but in 2003, both my kidneys got damaged and then I had to start dialysis at least twice a week and sometimes also thrice. Dialysis really is a very tiring thing because them I could not eat or drink, I would keep resting and many a times I would throw up. We were in search for a perfect match for the kidney. Few years passed and then I developed a brain problem where I would faint at regular intervals. Even when we got the perfect match, I could not get operated because of this brain problem. Once when I was cooking, I fainted and the vessels from the gas stove fell on me. I was quickly rushed to the hospital. When I regained consciousness, I realized that I had got badly burnt. The doctor told me that the wounds were so bad, that they would not heal unless I do a plastic surgery. Later, when I went for my kidney transplant surgery, the doctor sent me back home because my liver had becom...

I am so thrilled that I have no words how Gurudev poured Unconditional Grace for which I am not capable. Strange are ways of Gurudev.

It is an incident of Rishikesh of year 2006 or may be 2007. Don't remember exactly. I was connected with My Gurudev in April 2005 at Jalandhar in One of Teachers' house. And I had the opportunity to meet personally face to face and was bleesd by Him. Then I did my basic course in same month. I went to Rishikesh Ashram in 2006/07 to do AMC in GuruDev presence. In the evening Gurudev walked from Ganga Kuteer to Ganga bathing ghaat which is nearby to Kuteer. At that hardly 6 to 7 volunteers were accompanying गुरुदेव and I was one lucky servant of Gurudev. When Gurudev was about to have a holy dip, I was nearby Him. He just held my hand and took the dip. Later also I took dip with His hand held. What a miracle observed that Ganga water where गुरुदेव took a dip was lukewarm which otherwise is quite cold. Still it is in my memory and by remembering it I am so thrilled that I have no words how Gurudev poured Unconditional Grace for which I am not capable. Strange are ways ...

कृपा में किसी भी समय कुछ भी बदलने की क्षमता है।

Balance. A little food is essential; not too much; not too little; the right amount (yuktahara)."

In Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna very clearly says, "One who eats a lot will never attain yoga nor those who do not eat at all. They will also not attain yoga." That is why he said, "yuktahara-viharasya yukta-cestasya karmasu."             Krishna's way is always the middle path. He says, "Balance. A little food is essential; not too much; not too little; the right amount (yuktahara)."            Sharira Madhyam Khalu Dharma Sadhanam. This body is an instrument to attain dharma. To attain moksha. To attain the highest, you have to keep your body fit. Yoga is about this. - Gurudev Sri Sri..

Gurudev, how do I know if I am doing the right thing or not? Sometimes I get very confused, please guide me what should I do?

Question - Gurudev, how do I know if I am doing the right thing or not? Sometimes I get very confused, please guide me what should I do? Gurudev Sri Sri - When you are not doing the right thing, something pinches you, something irritates you, something inside tells you that you are not doing the right thing. This is how you know you are not doing the right thing. When you are doing the right thing, sometimes doubts also come. So, if doubts come then you can think that it is the right thing. But if irritation comes then it is wrong. Our doubt is always about something that is right. Also, when your prana is low then doubt comes. Raise your prana with more meditation. Then you will see that these doubts don't rise up in the mind.

Gurudev, even after doing my 100%, people sometimes have more expectations from me which is beyond my capacity. This frustrates me and I don't know how to deal with it?

Question - Gurudev, even after doing my 100%, people sometimes have more expectations from me which is beyond my capacity. This frustrates me and I don't know how to deal with it? Gurudev Sri Sri - It is okay if people have expectations, you don't need to get frustrated about it. You do what is in your capacity, and sometimes stretch a little more than what you think you can do and you will be amazed to see that you have much more capabilities. Take every expectation as a challenge for you to expand and express. When you take it as a challenge, you will not get frustrated. Do your best and give your 100% Like in a running race, you look only at your track and do your best. If you have the fear of losing the game even before starting it, then you will never be able to win the game. When you're playing a game, you should put your 100%. If you have done your best then nobody will hold anything against you.

Gurudev, in the Yoga Sutras, it is said that by aparigraha (the concept of non-possessiveness or non-greediness) one gets to know their past lives. Is that true?

Question - Gurudev, in the Yoga Sutras, it is said that by aparigraha (the concept of non-possessiveness or non-greediness) one gets to know their past lives. Is that true? Gurudev Sri Sri - Yes. When you do not receive anything from anyone, not even their abuses, then you are most centered. See, material things are different. When people give you things, it is easy for you to not take it, to deny them. But when people abuse you, then you don't deny them. In fact, when someone insults you, before they can even complete what they are saying, you take the insult from them. Someone has not fully abused you yet, they have just begun saying it and you have already taken it from them. That is why aparigraha is important, which means, neither take anyone's insults nor take their compliments, because a compliment can get into your head and make you arrogant, and an insult can sink into your heart and can cause you intense pain. So aparigraha is neither taking anything posit...
