Meditation or samadhi is an experience where the spirit is fully awakened and the mind is also calm and awake.

*Guru Gyan:* _(Shiv Sutra_4.5)_ हृदये चित्तसंघट्टाद्...हॄदय मे चित्त को रखना ये ध्यान को प्रक्रिया है। जब भी हम सोते है तब मन किसी अज्ञात विधि से हृदय मे पहुँच जाता है, फिर जागते है तो चित्त और दिल का पार्थक्य महसूस होता है। ध्यान या समाधि ऐसा अनुभव है जहाँ भाव पूर्ण जागृत है और चित्त भी शांत और जागृत है। ध्यान के कुछ ऐसे भी तरीक़े है कि उसमें भाव को पूरी तरह से मार दो, चित्त को साक्षी बनाओ। हिंदुस्थान में प्रकृति को भगवान माना है...हिमालय और समुद्र को राजा माना है, पूरा संसार को जिवंत माना है....क्योंकि पूरा संसार की हमने दिल से देखा है....चित्त और दिल का समावेश करके देखा है। जैसे बालक करते है....सूरज, पहाड़, पेड़ ....सब जिवंत है। जिसको भी देखे... अपना लगना चाहिए। इसका लाभ क्या है....की आपमें शुद्ध तत्व जागृत होने लगेगा। अशुद्धि का अर्थ है...अपना नहीं लगना। अपनापन जैसे लगने लगेगा...आपमें पवित्रता, शुद्धता आने लगेगी। शुद्ध तत्व में हम रम जाते है तो अमानुष, अलौकिक शक्ति हमारे भीतर जागृत होने लगती है। पशू शक्ति का अर्थ है जो हावी हो जाता है, आक्रामक शक्ति। जो शक्ति आक्रामक नही है, हिंसात्मक नहीं है मगर जो अपने मे सबकुछ ले लेती है ...जैसे प्रेम की शक्ति होती है। जो प्रेम से राज्य करते है वह आग्रह से, आक्रोश से, हिंसा से राज्य करते है उनसे अधिक शक्तिशाली होते है। प्रेम में हर कोई पिघल जाता है....आग्रह से नहीं.... दुराग्रह से तो बिल्कुल नहीं। घर मे जो।छोटे बच्चे होते है वह घर के मालिक।होते है क्योंकि उनके भीतर शुद्ध तत्व है, पवित्रता है, वह प्रेम में होते है। पवित्रता से अपशु शक्ति जागृत होगा, ऐसा ताकद संपादन होगा जो अति उच्च कोटि की होगी। _

Shiv Sutra_4.5_ Hridaye Chittasangattad ... Keeping the mind in the heart is the process of meditation. Whenever we sleep, then the mind reaches the heart by some unknown method, then when awake, then the mind and heart feel isolated. Meditation or samadhi is an experience where the spirit is fully awakened and the mind is also calm and awake. There are some ways of meditation that completely kill the emotion in it, make the mind a witness. In Hindusthan, nature is considered to be God… Himalayas and the sea are considered to be kings, the whole world is considered alive… because we have seen the whole world with heart…. As children do… the sun, the mountains, the trees… everything is alive. Whichever one sees… should be yours. What is the benefit of this… that the pure element will start awakening in you. Impurity means ... do not own. You will feel like belongingness ... purity, purity will start coming in you. When we get in a pure essence, inhuman, supernatural power starts awakening within us. Pashu Shakti means one who dominates, aggressive power. The power which is not aggressive, is not violent, but which takes away everything in itself… just like love has power. Those who rule with love are more powerful than those who rule with passion, resentment, violence. Everyone is melted in love… not by insistence… not at all by obstruction. The little children in the house are the owners of the house. Because they have a pure element, there is purity, they are in love. Purity will awaken over the evil power, so that there you will get a power which will be of very high quality.
