Saindha Namak (Rock Salt) v/s Normal Salt (Samudri Namak)

*Saindha Namak (Rock Salt) v/s Normal  Salt (Samudri Namak)*

*Summary* - Switch to Saindha Namak / Rock Salt in all your meals.

*Saindha Namak* is obtained from rocks (of salt), mostly from Himalayan range mountains in Pakistan, therefore called *Rock Salt* too. Whereas origin of *normal salt* is *sea water* (residue after evaporation) therefore called *Sea Salt* (Samudri Namak) too.

Both r different in characteristics though both r chemically NaCl.
Rock salt is *pure*, without impurities, so it can be consumed directly without any processing/cleansing whereas normal salt is full of impurities from sea thus it is cleaned by chemical process  before consumption.

Rock salt absorbs water Easily so it gets dissolved in body naturally  (no need of digestion) whereas sea salt takes time to absorb water thus goes through digestion process in body.

Rock salt hydrates body as it quickly absorbs water whereas sea salt dehydrates body as it takes time in absorbing water.

Sea salt is *acidic* in nature bcoz of sea impurities & chemical processing thus tends to create acidity whereas rock salt is *alkaline* in nature and free from impurities, it removes acidity from body.

Rock salt detoxifies body whereas sea salt toxify body if taken in excess.
All processed foods dehydrate and toxify as they use excess quantity of sea salt and other chemicals to make food tasty and addictive. More the addiction, more u enjoy junk food. Just look at kid’s food habits bcoz of this addiction.
